Hello Kindergarten families! Tomorrow will be Kindergarten field trip to the zoo in Albuquerque. Buses will be leaving at 8:00am. Please have your child at school at 7:30 am in order to have breakfast. Buses will not be waiting for tardy students. Electronics, toys, and snacks are not allowed on the bus or trip. Please send a water bottle. After school program will not be available to students as they must be picked up and signed out from the field trip with their teacher.
Good evening, Tony Serna students will walking to NMHU for Seedling to Tree, Mountain to River interactive classrooms tomorrow, Friday, April 25. Students will have a sack lunch at school before walking to NMHU. Students need to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. No money is needed, however food trucks will be available at teacher's discretion.

This is a great opportunity for any 6th or 7th grade students interested in learning about the legal field, building leadership skills, and gain college experience. This is a friendly reminder that NM-SSA Testing will take place this week on April 9 and April 10. Attendance is crucial during this time. To ensure your child is well-prepared, please encourage them to get a good night's sleep, eat a balanced breakfast, and arrive on time.

Attention West Las Vegas High School Families of 11th-grade students taking the SAT. Today, there were some issues with our Internet; therefore, students started the afternoon sessions late. Testing will run until approximately 3:30. Coaches have all been notified, and the counselors have confirmed that none of the students are bus riders. If we stop the test, we will need to invalidate the entire group. I thank you for your understanding.

West Las Vegas High School Juniors, SAT testing is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2nd. It is imperative that students be in attendance and on time. SAT is a graduation requirement and must be taken.
Attention West Las Vegas High School and Family Partnership High School Students. Prom is quickly approaching. Prom is scheduled for 4/26/25 from 8:00 to 11:00 PM at Dick's Event Center. All students attending must be in good standing and obtain clearance from the school administration to participate. Students cannot have any F's in the current grading period and must have had no excessive discipline referrals. They must also demonstrate good or improved attendance, including class tardiness. Juniors and Seniors are the only individuals that will be able to purchase tickets. If a student is bringing a guest from another school site, the guest will need to have a form filled out by the school site's administrator and returned no later than April 22 to be considered.

Sports Physicals for the 2025-2026 SY may begin on April 1, 2025.
